Effective August 23, 2026. These terms apply when you submit a photograph, video, caption, or related material to The Cutlet Station’s “Report the Crime Scene” campaign.
1. YOU KEEP OWNERSHIP.
You retain ownership of your submission. You are not transferring your copyright to The Cutlet Station.
2. YOU GIVE US PERMISSION TO USE IT.
By submitting, you grant The Cutlet Station a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, store, reproduce, crop, resize, edit, caption, combine with brand graphics or music, publish, display, and distribute your submission in connection with this campaign and related promotion of The Cutlet Station. This may include our website, social media, email, Founder’s Journal, advertising, press materials, and pre-launch or Kickstarter communications.
3. YOUR PROMISES.
You confirm that you are at least 18, that you created the submission or have every permission needed to submit it, and that our permitted use will not violate another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Do not submit confidential information, visible personal records, unsafe or illegal activity, or identifiable minors unless you are their parent or legal guardian and have authority to consent.
4. CREDIT.
We may credit you according to the option selected on the form, but cannot guarantee attribution in every format. If you select a social handle, you permit us to reproduce that handle with the submission.
5. SELECTION, PAYMENT, AND AVAILABILITY.
We may choose whether, where, when, and for how long to use a submission. Submission does not guarantee publication, payment, a prize, early access, a product, or any other benefit. This campaign is not a contest or sweepstakes.
6. WITHDRAWING FUTURE USE.
You may ask us to stop new uses by emailing hello@cutletstation.com from the address used to submit. We will make reasonable efforts to stop future publication, but cannot recall material already printed, distributed, posted by third parties, or incorporated into completed materials.
7. EDITS AND REMOVAL.
We may edit submissions for length, clarity, formatting, accessibility, and brand presentation, without presenting a materially false account. We may remove any submission at any time.
8. PRIVACY.
Contact details are collected to administer the submission, verify permissions, and contact you about possible use. They are not displayed unless you separately choose a public credit. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
9. QUESTIONS.
Questions or withdrawal requests can be sent to hello@cutletstation.com.
